Download EffectCraft 0.8.0

Released October 11, 2026. Every link below points to the official GitHub release; nothing is re-hosted or repackaged here.

Don’t want to install anything? Run EffectCraft in your browser. It is the same app, compiled to WebAssembly. Choose the desktop app for long or high-resolution footage (the browser build can use at most 4 GiB of memory), text in your installed fonts, multi-threaded rendering, and agent control over MCP.

Windows

Installers and executables are code-signed. The portable zip runs without installing. The ARM64 build runs natively on Windows on ARM.

macOS

One universal build for Apple silicon and Intel, signed and notarized. The command-line tool (needed for MCP on a Mac) is a separate download.
